Make Your Workout Fun with These 10 Best Songs

Posted on July 15, 2022

Most people aren’t athletic and think of going to the gym as a challenge that they have to overcome. If you are the kind of person that hates working out, a good playlist can help make it easy. Upbeat tracks can keep you motivated and make your workout a lot more fun. The easiest thing to do would be to get a reliable internet plan from an ISP like Charter Spectrum and get a Spotify subscription on your Spectrum cell phone plans. The platform has a lot of playlists from other users and some built-in ones that can bring out your beast mode.

However, if you don’t have a Spotify subscription or want to curate your own playlist, you need to know the latest best beats. If you don’t like the songs you’re playing, you might get tired sooner than you think. So, here are some great songs that will make your workout better.

#1: Save Your Tears by The Weeknd

The Weeknd has some truly iconic songs but nothing beats Save Your Tears. It can give you a surge of confidence and the motivation that you need for a HIIT workout session. If that one extra rep is feeling like too much, play this song and get to work. The rhythmic beats and the lyrics are the perfect addition to any workout playlist.

#2: Disturbia by Rihanna

Rihanna might have been M.I.A. since 2016 but some of her songs are still on playlists even now. If you are looking for a song that is different but still makes you want to dance then look no further than Disturbia. The background drum beats and the bass will keep you running on the treadmill for a little while longer.

#3: Viva La Vida by Coldplay

Most of Coldplay’s songs might not be fit for the gym because they’re blues and have a slow rhythm. However, Viva la Vida is a completely different tune and one that you will want to keep playing on a loop. The lyrics are motivational and will give strength to your soul. And if you are returning to the gym after a while, this song can help you get right back into it.

#4: Shut Up and Dance by Walk the Moon

Shut Up and Dance was released in 2014 and is part of the Talking is Hard album. The song is the one last push that you need to get off your feet and dance the night away. If your workout consists of some aerobics or Zumba, then this can be the right track to get you going.

#5: Symphony by Clean Bandit and Zara Larsson

Clean Bandit released the song in 2018 and it is still one of the best songs to add to your gym playlist. The music is playful and you will have fun singing along to the tune. Zara Larsson adds a fine touch of finesse to the vocals and it can be a great beat to work out on.

#6: I Gotta Feeling by The Black-Eyed Peas

If you are down in the dumps, this song from Black-Eyed Peas can be a great pick-me-up. It can lift your spirit and put you in a much better mood than before. Listen to this song when you want positivity and hope for the day that is coming and working out is just the start of it.

#7: Bad Romance by Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga and her songs need no introduction and Bad Romance is one of her most iconic tracks. The song takes you through a musical journey and the beats are some of the best ones to add to your gym playlist. Lady Gaga leaves no stone unturned to make music that her listeners will remember for years.

#8: Levitating by Dua Lipa

Levitating can be a great choice if you want to do aerobics, HIIT, or Zumba. Dua Lipa’s deep tone and vocals paired with a fantastic rhythm make this song a must-have for all gym playlists. It is a mood booster track that can also make your workout fun.

#9: Look What You Made Me Do by Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is no doubt one of the most popular artists in the world right now and her music has evolved a lot over the years. Fans were more than happy when she transitioned from her signature country music to pop. This song is one of the most epic songs from Taylor that fully focuses on her transition into the “new Taylor”. And if you are in the gym to forget a part of your life and move on, then this is the best song to do it with.

#10: Bad Habits by Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran has always made all types of different music and his diverse range is what makes him so popular. Bad Habits has a great tune to work out with as the music is jumpy and a lot of fun. It will help improve your HIIT and strength training exercises.
