The Most Popular NFT Projects on the Market

Posted on June 9, 2022

The most popular NFT projects currently on the market are Enjin, CryptoPunks, Gods Unchained, Cool Cats, and Enigma. This article will cover each project in turn. Afterward, you can vote on which ones you think should be funded. Here are some tips for choosing the right project:

Enjin

Enjin uses its NFTs as a currency as one of the first blockchain-based games. When a user purchases NFTs on the Enjin marketplace, the user pays a 2.5% transaction fee in ENJ. The buyer then uses their Enjin wallet app to scan the QR code and complete the transaction. The wallet also enables the user to verify the transaction and find specific projects to purchase NFTs from.

There are several applications for NFTs, including DeFi, where they can be used as collateral for loans and financial contracts. Enjin Coin is currently the largest NFT project by market cap. Enjin was founded in 2009 and began developing a gaming network. It later launched an ICO in 2017 and developed a blockchain ecosystem geared toward NFTs. The Enjin coin will back all tokens minted on the Enjin platform and provide value to NFTs.

CryptoPunks

CryptoPunks are collections of pixels that represent different types of art and characters. These works of art were created by a group of software developers called Larva Labs. The project aims to capture the anti-establishment spirit of the blockchain movement. To this end, they chose aesthetics that reflect the London punk scene and William Gibson’s Neuromancer. As a result, CryptoPunks is considered the beginning of the CryptoArt movement. In addition, the project pioneers, Larva Labs, are planning to sell nine of the Punks at Christie’s 21st Century Evening Sale.

The prices of these CryptoPunks have skyrocketed, with the most expensive one selling for nearly $200,000. Although the price of these crypto assets is unregulated, they have a high potential for gains. The most popular holders are tennis player Serena Williams and American rapper Jay-Z. These projects have boosted the popularity of NFT in the past few years.

Gods Unchained

Unlike other Metaverse tokens, the GODS token was designed for use in the game’s “Play-to-Earn” aspects. In addition to purchasing in-game assets, the GODS token is used as voting power in the game’s governance. GODS are ERC-20 tokens with a fixed supply of 500 million.

The game started development in the summer of 2018 and released a limited card set known as Genesis. The developers auctioned off a one-of-a-kind Mythic card named Hyperion for 146 ETH – almost $61,000. In addition to its high-profile auctions, Gods Unchained is also one of the most widely talked-about NFT projects.

Cool Cats

The Cool Cats are one of the most popular NFT projects today and are owned by several notable figures, including Reese Witherspoon, Marc Benioff, and Alexis Ohanian. Their creator, Colin Egan, conceived the project to make money by selling avatars of cool cats. Last July, the project was launched on the Ethereum blockchain and has since become an instant success, with Cool Cats avatars selling for upwards of $250 million. It is now looking to expand its use to other blockchain projects.

The Cool Cats NFT will allow for staking, another way to earn money with the Cool Cat NFT. It will also feature a voting platform and player guilds. With the NFT ecosystem evolving, this project can transfer to other ecosystems. However, investors should know that NFTs are not available to U.S. residents, and it’s unclear whether or not they’ll be able to transfer them.

Everyday – The First 5000 Days

Almost all of the images in the exhibition dated before Beeple’s debut. His style resembles a drugged-out Creepshow, and while his work is earnest, it is also ghoulish at times. However, 80 percent of the images in the exhibition predate his style and are nonetheless fascinating. While the exhibition is well crafted, it lacks the quality needed to be preserved.

Since May 2007, Beeple has been creating a new piece of art each day. His daily experiments have resulted in creating a digital piece, Everyday – The First 5000 Days of NFT projects, a mosaic of the first 5,000 gifs and vector images he created during that year. The first 5000 Days NFT piece sold for less than 100 dollars online but then went up for auction at Christie’s. In March 2021, the piece realized a record price of $69.3 million. Before this auction, Beeple was a relatively unknown artist.
